libbpp-phyl9 software package provides Bio++ Phylogenetic library., you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libbpp-phyl9
libbpp-phyl9 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libbpp-phyl9 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libbpp-phyl9 *
You will get with libbpp-phyl9 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
